MUSIC PRODUCTION

The producer's role is determining not only for the sound that is to be achieved, but also into the whole concept the artist(s) is(are) trying to create; that's why the producer might understand perfectly what's inside the artist's mind.

The producer is gonna be involved from the scratch (pre-production), during the recording (production) and into the mix & mastering (post-production). He/She might also choose the team that's gonna take part in the whole process (recording engineers, mixing engineers, mastering engineers, etc.) always trying to achieve a specific sound.

It is very important to know that it isn't about imposing ideas, but to get the best from the artist(s), always with a defined objective.
